The
official opening ceremony of "Conus" Youth Development
Center took place on the 12th of November 2007. The
opening ceremony was attended by more that 200 guests
and was widely presented by mass media. During the event
wide range of products were shown in action, as children
were playing with them and demonstrating their skills
and imagination to the public.

The
guests were admiring while watching the children, who
were enthusiastically playing with the magic products
provided by "Conus" Youth Development Centre. Also,
around the playing table there were the tutors of the
Centre, who were teaching the children about the wonderful
options of the products. "Conus" promotes the creation
of groups of children, who will regularly meet at the
Centre and play with each other, discovering the ways
of expressing their imagination.

The
event was attended by the representatives of mass media,
who also were very impressed from this unique undertaking
of "Conus" Youth Development Centre. Besides
numerous interviews taken by the journalists of prestigious
newspapers and journals, also reports of the news channels
were made by various Armenian TV companies. It was mentioned
that "Conus" Centre is going to have its own
TV programme, which will be about the children attending
the groups and their achievements.

Ms.
Amalia Karapetyan, General Director of "Conus"
Youth Development Centre (on the left), was very excited
while seeing the results of all preparatory activities
which she has organized before the opening ceremony.
She said that she believes to the successful development
of the Centre, which is witnessed by the smiles of children
and their parents, who both are very happy for this
unique initiative in Armenia. All guests were very impressed
from the high level of the event and its organizational
arrangements.

Mr.
Tigran Asatryan, Financial Director of "Youth Development
Centre", as one of the founders of the Centre,
also welcomed all the participants and represented the
strategy of the Centre. He emphasized that in accordance
with the forthcoming plans, it is envisaged to open
various branches of the Centre throughout the all territory
of Armenia, which will greatly assist to the development
of youth. Mr. Tigran Asatryan also works at Conus Centre
of Moscow, therefore he also represented the welcome
speech on behalf of the General Director of
Conus Moscow office.

Mrs.
Ruzanna Tonoyan, Director of Children' Library named
after "Khnko Aper", expressed her supportive
attitude towards the development of cooperation with
"Conus" Youth Development Centre. Mrs. Tonoyan
is considers as one of the main partners of the Centre
and as she is in daily contact with the youth, she has
recommended many parents and children to participate
in the activities of the Centre.

The
opening ceremony was also attended by the Children'
puppet theater, who represented Armenian folk dance
- the traditional "Kochari", which is considered
as the dance of victories. Of course, the establishment
of the Centre in Armenia can be considered both for
parents and for the children. It is necessary to mention,
that the children from the Children' puppet theater
were demonstrating their shows using the puppets made
by them.

Only
smiles and words of gratitude could be heard from the
side of parents. Parents were thoroughly looking through
the catalogues of "Conus" Youth Development
Centre and were admiring with the wide range of products,
which can greatly assists them in their hard work of
upbringing their children. Parents were indeed very
happy for having the chance of bringing their children
in the small groups, where the tutors of the Center
are teaching their children how to play by expressing
their imagination.

During
the opening ceremony a special table was surrendered
by children, where they were playing with the products
provided by "Conus" Youth Development Centre.
Children were so happy and excited for having the chance
of demonstrating to the public their skills and know-hows.
"Children' smiles and enthusiasm can be the major
achievement of the Centre", expressed on of the
tutors. However, children were so deep in their playing
and showing their fantasies throughnumerous figures
were made by children duplicating various characters
from tales and cartoons.

The
opening ceremony was concluded by the opening of the
shop of "Conus" Youth Development Centre,
which is located in the basement floor of Children'
library named after "Khnko Aper". All participants
were so happy having the chance of seeing world-known
best brands of children's toys in Armenia. These toys
are very exclusive and they have been developed based
on deep and long-term researches, the aim of which is
to make childhood happy and imaginative!
